Personal Observations on the Queen

Last Thursday night when lying in bed, I thought I would look to see where Queen Elizabeth was now. When pets have died, their spirits are present in the house until burial in the garden, and at funerals I see the dead person present looking at their friends and family until it's over. It’s a time for them to say goodbye.

Tuning into the Queen, she was everywhere as if by stepping out of her body she was able to hold all of us with greater ease. I felt held and protected by one who had undertaken the role of looking after her people. I saw her as the ultimate public servant, rather than the monarch. She was holding the land of the four kingdoms together, tightly wrapped around them so there was unity, not division. In Reiki we talk about holding the energy for something and being responsible to see that it happens. This was one person holding the energy for the United Kingdom, the glue that has held it together. A strong and remarkable woman.
